Dear Mr. Marshall:
Prologis would like to request a variance to allow the paving contractor to drive over the rebar in the
private paving areas. The fire lanes would be placed as requested in the preconstruction meeting.
Prologis will dissolve all responsibility from the City of Coppell in regards to the paving process in the
private paving areas.
-deformed rebar prior to paving. If any rebar is
deformed or dirty, the contractor shall take the required means to correct prior to paving.
Halff Associates supports this request, ands sees no issues from a civil standpoint if construction if done
as described above. This is the typical method for pouring private concrete on the majority of our projects
all over the DFW metroplex.
