RE: Craftmade / 650 Royal Lane availability of water and sewer
This letter is written in response to your letter concerning the availability of water and sewer
for 650 Royal Lane. The referenced site does have available water and sewer with an existing
12 inch water line in Royal Lane and an existing 10 inch sewer lines in Royal Lane.
The City has recently completed a Master Plan update for both our water and sewer systems.
The Master Plan update shows that the sewer system is adequate to handle the entire developed
area along Royal Lane in the Freeport North Subdivision. The Water Plan update shows that
while water is available, there could be some problems at various points along the system when
a fire flow is placed upon the system. When the property is developed, I would recommend that
you evaluate the fire flow for the particular site in question to insure that you have adequate
protection or to determine if you need some type of pumping or storage capabilities on-site to
meet your required ftre flow demands.
