Site Conditions: The site was dry and well maintained.
WORK DESCRIPTION
1. Steel workers were completing the installation of steel reinforcement at various locations around the perimeter of the
tank and around the inlet and outlet pipes.
2. The ~rst of approximately 200 concrete trucks amved atthejob site around 10:45 AM. Most ofthetraffic control
into the site was provided by Redi-Mix.
3. Concrete was loaded into two concrete pump trucks. At approximately 11:00 AM, concrete began to be pumped
into the slab. Two washout pits were provided at the job site for the concrete trucks.
4. Approximately 40 % of the slab was poured by 3:00 PM.
5. Bob Barbarisi indicated that the outer perimeter of the tank would receive a curing compound and the inner
perimeter would receive a 3 inch water cure.
6. Approximately twelve concrete tracks were on the job site at any given time. Two PumpCo concrete pump trucks,
one forklift and a front-end loader were on the job site.
7. Lime and crushed rock were placed at various locations around the temporary access road.
