Dear Ab:
I spoke to Ken Griffin, City Engineer, regarding your two requests. First of all, City
specifications have always required rebar instead of wire mesh on parking and driveway areas.
Your engineer, Albert Halffand Associates, are very famili~ with these specifications and noted
on your plans that "all work and material shall be in accordance with City of Coppell standards
and specifications .... "Therefore, no variance may be granted.
Your second request is with regard to joint sealing. Our inspectors have been apprised that this
is an issue, however, joint sealing has always been required in the City of Coppell. Therefore,
no variance may be granted.
