We have reviewed the attached concrete test reports and have found strengths
for the 28 day breaks meet the minimum standards of 4,000 psi, although the
mix design strength was 3,500 psi. W~e a..re c~ wi_th t..he mi..~x (~n of

additional paving which does not acM~'e"the ml"-'~nimu~O0 psi strength
should be removed and replaced with the correct design mix of 4,000 psi.
We are forwarding a copy of this letter and test reports to Ken Griffin at the
City of Coppell for his review as the original design of 4,000 psi concrete over
compacted base was the criteria of the City of Coppell.
We will continue to review test reports as they are received for the paving
areas and instruct McFadden and Miller to check all mix designs before
placing concrete. Should you have any questions or require additional
information, please call me for assistance.
Sincerely,
GROMATZKY DUPR~ATES
