Pipeline Euless, Texas 76039 RE: Copper Stone Retaining Wall Dear Mr. Clancey: The City of Coppell has received and reviewed the referenced plans and has the following commems to offer: 1. Provide a cover sheet stating name of project, what type of construction, the developer and engineer. Also, provide a site map showing location of project and retaining wall. 2. Check wind loads for an 8' high wood fence on top of retaining wall. Make sure that metal post can withstand wind pressures. 3. Check for ground pressures that could effect the stability of the wall when a swimming pool is placed behind the wall. 4. Provide a note stating that the PVC sleeve for steel post should not be placed any more than 8' apart. 5. Provide a note stating that any disturbance to the park property that occurs during this construction elemem of the project needs to be conveyed to the Parks and Recreation Division office (462-8495). Repair to these areas is to be coordinated with the Parks and Recreation Division. 6. Will this type of retaining wall be constructed on the south side of the subdivision? If so, it should be shown on location map. There are various other minor commems throughout these plans. Once these comments have been addressed, the revised set of plans should be resubmitted to the City for review.
