Attached is Engineering’s last correspondence on the project. We are waiting on the engineer to submit backup for the
fee calculation and the developer to submit the construction development permit.
The City will need 3 sets of plans for our use and however many copies you and your contractor will need for approval
stamping.
We schedule pre-cons about a week out and are typically on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays. The construction
inspection fees of 2%/4% are due at the time of the pre-con via check.

It would generally be your contactor and/or your civil engineer. They need to contact George Marshall
gmarshall@coppelltx.gov and/or Scott Latta (slatta@coppelltx.gov) set up a preconstruction meeting, assuming
the civil engineering/construction plans have been approved.

FYI:
One of the first things I noted as I started looking at this permit is a note from Engineering: "Developer needs to
schedule and hold a Pre-construction meeting with the Engineering Department for the Civil site work prior to
building permit issuance."
I will continue to look at this as time permits, but no permit can be issued until the matter of the Pre-
construction meeting with Engineering is addressed.
The City of Coppell has adopted the 2015 edition of the International family of codes. All permits submitted
after May 11, 2017 must be designed to meet these codes and the 2014 NEC.
