Village Parkway Ground Storage Reservoir No. 2
Gentlemen:
We are enclosing a set of photographs of an underwater inspection performed on the Village Parkway Ground
Storage Reservoir No. 2 by U.S. Underwater Services Inc. conducted on March 23, 1997. As shown in the
pictures, the inlet pipe appears to and corroding with rust in various locations. We recommend the defective
inlet pipe coating system be repaired following the completion of this project under the maintenance
agreement of the contract specifications.
The photographs of the paint peeling away from the dome near the vent are in the same location of the
exterior coating system problems discussed in our letter dated May 1, 1997. Please provide us with your
schedule to complete the remaining work noted in our May 1 letter, and a tentative schedule to complete the
repairs to the inlet pipe.
