Ok so after a little searching we were both right. We have both ordinances active but just to make it easier on everyone I
will accept the one you have already provided us. As far as giving the final acceptance I am still needing the other bonds
from your paving and utility contractors. There are also items that were on the punch list from the final walk that they
are working on but still not completed. I am also waiting on the asbuild CAD and PDF files for the project from the
engineer. Until I have everything I cannot issue a final acceptance letter.

Understood. Sounds like we found conflicting information, on line, so apologies for our mistake.
Christy, please retrieve the original bond back from Matt, when you return to the office, and order an updated bond for
the full $18K.
Matt, in the interim, knowing that we are pursuing the updated bond, would you be willing to release the acceptance
and permits, assuming all other criteria has been met? Obviously, we will rush the bond replacement.

I have attached our back up for the bond. Per section 13-5-12A, it is a 50% bond for two years (see
highlighted section). I have also attached the proposal from Prime Erosion Control, as well as our bond
request to AON, showing the $18K erosion control proposal and 50% bond request.
Let me know if you still disagree with how we came to the number and we can discuss.
Tom, please forward to the contractors and let’s get these bonds to the City. I want to get this
community accepted this week and paper work should not be the issue. We need to start these houses.

Chip,
I have an issue with the erosion control bond. We require it to be 100% of the cost of what was installed
and what was given was only $9000 this seems low for the size of the project. If you could send me
where you are getting this number I would appreciate it. Also I am still waiting on bonds for paving,
water, sewer, and storm drain. There are still punch list items that the utility contractor is working on
and I will go out today and see where they are with those items. Let me know if you need anything from
me to expedite this process.

Tom is about to be out on vacation. We spoke on Friday and he took the erosion control bond, in order
to give it to you.
Please let me know what is still outstanding, in order to receive the Acceptance for phase 2B.
I apologize, if you are repeating anything that you have relayed to Tom, but we have homeowners ready
to start their houses and I can’t afford to lose any time on acceptance, while he is away.
