Re: City of Coppell
Village Parkway Ground Storage Reservoir No. 2
Gentlemen:
The City of Coppell's inspector reports the Village Parkway Ground Storage Reservoir No. 2 is now complete
and in general accordance with the contract plans and specifications. The project is in service and is
acceptable to the City of Coppell.
The contract completion date for this project as established by the contract documents, was March 17, 1996.
Although the project was reported as complete by Natgun on September 11, 1997, the City had beneficial use
of the project at the point when the ground storage reservoir was placed into service on June 6, 1996.
Therefore, liquidated damages will not be assessed by the City.
On April 23, 1997 our office received a Waiver of Liens from all outstanding payments on the project
excluding Gee Consultants, Inc. Our records indicate a payment is due Gee Consultants Inc., for testing
requested by Natgun during construction. Please resolve this issue with Gee Consultants Inc., and have them
submit a release of lien, so the City can begin the process of final payment on this project.
