It has been noted that the Fire Department Connection (FDC) and the fire hydrant at 440 $. Royal have
been placed within five fc~'t ($') of each other. In order to provide a safe and efficient connection, at
least ten feet (10') separation is required between these connections,
I have met with the job superintcndeat about providing tho necessary separation and he has no problems
with it but requested a formal notice Io the City of Coppcll F_,agincering Dcpartmcnt so that any necessary
notations can be made to your plans.
