It is refreshing to see that our issues will be heard and given full consideration by the City. In regards to your May 24, 1996 letter recapping the events of last week, I wish to comment as follows: 1. Your letter and Clay Phillip's letter both indicate that our rack plan is approved as submitted. You issued the building permit without any qualifications and denoted on the fire prevention plan review notes that item 10 was deleted. Again, I appreciate your help on this critical item. Our rack and equipment plans are the back bone of our operation in Texas. 2. In paragraph 3 of your letter you discuss rack storage construction prior to final C.O.. We will need to install not only our bulk storage rack, prior to final C.O., but also our front line picking modules and conveyor system. The installation of our equipment does not require any special construction techniques or procedures. If you or your staff have any questions please contact me. If necessary, I will organize a conference call with our equipment vendors to discuss further. 3. I appreciate the detailed review being done on the storm sewer situation. As we discussed, we have agreed to put it in, but would prefer not to do so at this time. We are willing to have water back up on our property in the event of a 100 year rain. With the land to the north and south of us undeveloped, putting in our portion of a solution does not seem appropriate at this time. I agree, a face-to-face meeting will be the best forum to resolve once we have analyzed the options. Again, I really appreciate your help in clearing some hurdles and helping us review storm sewer options. We are also looking forward to building a strong relationship with the City of Coppell and the character displayed last week reinforced our decision to build in Coppell. George Kern, who will be running the facility, and I hope to finalize plans to come down in sometime in June, where we could further discuss the issues noted above. Once our plans our finalized, I will give you a call to set up a convenient time to meet. Terry Sch~arting Project Manager cc: Harvey L. Miller Tom Morton
