RE: Sales Tax 2014 Neighborhood Alleyway Improvements
Dear Resident:
The citizens of Coppell approved in November 2007, and reauthorized again in November
2011, the use of 1/40 cent of the sales tax for maintenance of residential streets and alleyways.
At the April 28, 2015 City Council meeting, a contract with Urban Construction was approved
for the reconstruction of alleyways near, Crestview Drive Alley, Timber Ridge Lane South
Alley, Elm Hill Court Alley, Rolling Brook Lane Alley, Pinyon Lane Alley, Mapleleaf Lane
Alley, Aspenway Drive Alley and Landsdowne Circle Alley. Please see the attached map for
the reconstruction locations.
Representatives working with Urban Construction will be in your area soon to begin the
preparatory work necessary for the construction of the project. Their personnel should have
identification and be in marked vehicles.
The contractor plans to begin work the end of May, 2015. The project is expected to be
complete by the end of this year.
Throughout construction, the contractor will be restricting traffic in the alleyways. The
contractor will be communicating with affected residents to share the construction activity
updates and upcoming schedule.
