❖ Scope of Project:
> New water line—New services &meter cans for all houses within the project boundaries
> New 8" Sewer line—new sewer services with cleanout at property line for houses that
front project boundaries
> Storm Drainage
> New Paving—9"thick with compacted subgrade
> Sidewalk—4' both sides—city walk will be tied in to private lead walks close to ROW or
where grades dictate.
Funding Source:
1/4 cent sales tax allocated to streets during November 2007 election, and reauthorized in 2011.
The portion of the contract for Edgewood was $998,878.00. The combined Contract amount with
the sister project on Highland Meadow Circle is $2,376,151.00 with$97,500 potential bonus for ,
early completion.
Schedule:
Project to begin on or about May 11, 2015. 250 Calendar Day max schedule,providing for a
mid-January 2016 completion date. $97,500 allocated for early completion bonus. $1,500 per
day incentive for early completion, or penalty for late completion.
Access:
One-way access northbound on Edgewood Drive
Mail-moved side to side-working with P.O.
Next up: Contractor will discuss irrigation, staging& sequencing of schedule.
