Royal Lane, Suite #500 Our office received your architectural set for the modifications to the previously approved permit set on Monday, February 24. Generally speaking, the turn around for permit review is fifteen working days; however, since this project is currently under construction, we took a few minutes to review the set for completeness and obsen,ed man)' deficiencies. A permit application will need to be filled out reflecting the additional square footage of office finish out in order that we may calculate permit fees for this additional work. Additionally, the newly submitted electrical and mechanical drawings have not been revised and do not match the architectural sheets. We have also observed additional plumbing being added that is not reflected in these plans. The parking lot revisions that have been made to accommodate the additional office space, show to meet the parking requirements, but plans v,411 need to be submitted to the Engineering Department for civil review. I have spoken to Mr. Ami Patel in that department, who has asked for drainage and construction plans for this new paved area. Fees for engineering inspection will be calculated based on 4% of the cost of the new work. The site plan will need to show demolition and relocation of landscaping materials and trees, as well as structural for retaining walls that ma3' be necessat3, to retain the current berms that appear to be partially displaced to accommodate parking additions. Finally, the furore expansion construction shown does not imply approval of any future office construction without submission of further parking or exiting modifications. As you are aware, the items noted will hold up the issuance of a permit for these changes, and x~ill also hold up the Certificate of Occupancy on the project until the items are completed.
