RE: Freeport Parkway - City of Coppell
The pu~ose of this letter is to update you on the status of our design of Creekview Drive.
We received an e-mail from you on August 22"d containing Paving Plan-Profile Sheet
C-2.2 for Freeport P~kway. I am enclosing a copy of the Site Plan for Phase II of Wagon
~eel Park. Wagon ~eel Park sits to the west of State Road and to the north of our
proposed Creekview Drive. The shaded area shows the limits of Phase II construction
which is cuffently out to bid. Phase II includes the construction of three soccer fields to
be constructed in the southeft comer of the park property.
I am also enclosing two sheets showing two proposed alignments for Creekview Drive.
Sheet 1 shows our proposed aligment based on the medi~ opening location sho~ on
the pl~ that we received from you. This aligment puts the right-of-way within 15 feet
of the comer of the proposed soccer field. Sheet 2 shows an alternate aligment with the
median opening along Freepo~ P~kway shined to the Sou~. This aligment provides a
safer dist~ce between the proposed soccer fields and the proposed roadway. It was our
understanding with the Ci~ that S~ would design the intersection of Creekview Drive
and Freepo~ P~kway. I would like to meet with you at your earliest convenience so that
we c~ coordinate the location of the intersection.
