A situation has arisen in the field regarding the construction
of an 8" water main at the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard
& Allen Road.
We had designed a 10" X 8" tapping sleeve & valve & a bore of
8" main beneath Allen Road. When C.W. Young began the bore,
the pit filled with water due to the proximity of the lake
system.
Chuck Young met with Howard Pafford and they agreed to construct
a 90 degree bend from the existing 8" fire hydrant lead, parallel
the north property is (in City ROW) of Lot I Block F, and
construct 90° bend at the southeast corner of the Allen
Road/Brown Trail intersection.
Due to the circumstances involved, this seems logical to me.
Please let me know, as well as Larry Davis if you have a problem
with this alignment.
According to Mr. Young, this connection has been done and Mr.
Davis inspected the installation. Now, Mr. Davis is asking
Mr. Young to get your approval.
