Submitted herein are the results of our analysis of the ~avement
suborade at the above referenced site. The subOrade was samDled
and 5 typical sub,fade soil safe, les were obtained. Atterber~
Limit tests were performed on Ehe three most representative
materials. One lime series was then ~erformed on the most
~lastic material. Results of the Atterber~ Limit tests and the
lime series are attached to this re~ort.
Based on results of the AtterberO Limit tests and the lime series
a minimum of 27 lbs ~er square yard (~er & inch ~ompacted de~th)
of hydrated lime (by dr~ weiqht) as reouired by the City o~
Cop~ell would be sufficient to stabilize the subqrade. The
stabilization should be performed in qeneral conformance with
City of Copoell Standard Construction Details and Specifications.
