Re: Gibb's Station As-built Topography
Dear Mr. Griffin:
We are aware that the City has been discussing the revision of the
October 16, 1991 FEMA Map. Our project, Gibb's Station is
currently being completed in accordance with that effective map.
The developer of Gibb's Station, Gibb's Station, Ltd., employed the
services of Dallas Aerial Survey, Inc. to fly the area again so
that information that FEMA is reviewing is consistent and so that
the City will have accurate data for future use. The limits of the
flood plain are consistent with the grading plans that you have
previously approved.
We feel that providing this aerial confirmation in addition to the
construction plans will assist the City at some point in obtaining
a revised FEMA maps.
Attached are sheets D-2, D-3, E-3, and the disk that was used to
create the plat. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
William A. Anderson, P.E.

RE: Gibb's Station
Flood Plan Determination
Dear Ken:
I recently reviewed the latest effort in correctin~ the FE~
Map for Coppell. It appears that the City is proposing to adopt
the December 18, 1991 version of the map in the vicinity of Gibb's
Station. Our development was based on the October 16, 1991 map and
was verified as bein~ more consistent with that flood plain limit.
We have recently completed the final excavation phase of our
plans. To provide the most consistent results, the Developer is in
the process of employing Dallas Aerial Surveys, Inc. to refly the
area and regenerate "As-Built" data. We feel that this would more
satisfactorily assist FE~ with providing accurate data.
If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
William A. Anderson
