We recently received frc~ the City of Coppell a Notice of Public Hearing on a request for a change in zoning filed with the City of Coppel! by the Gifford-Hill Co. on a tract of land (the "Property") located south of the Dallas/Denton Cou~.ty line and west of State Highway 121 (see copy of map locating the Property received frc~ the City of Coppell enclosed herewith). We respect-~ully submit this letter in accordance with t/qe Notice of Public Hearing and re~u. est that it be read into ~nd ~de a part of the record of the public hearing on this matter before the City Council of the City of Cop.cell to be held on September 13, 1988. The Property is included in an area which has been previously annexed by the Citv of Grapevine (Grapevine Ordinance No. 70-35) and was made the s~bject of-a 1975 agreement apportioning the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the cities of Grapevine and Coppe!l, with the Property being located within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Grapevine pursuant to that a.,~reo_.ment (Grapevine Ordinance No. 75-40; Coppell Ordinance No. 156) . ~ecause e~e Property is located within the corporate limits of the city of Grapevine, the propertl, o%..mer will acquire no rights frc~0, the proposed. rezoning, as the Property is subject to the ordinances, rules and regulations of the city of Grapevine.
