Dear Mr. Patel:
GTE's existing cables were located, then sketched on the drawing
faxed to this office, a copy of which is following.
If the project is definitely going to go forward, GTE will have
to request a utility easement from the property owner in order to
group our cables together and place .a new vault around them at
the proper depth. This will involve removing and replacing a
part of their asphalt paving.
It is not feasible to lower the cables in place, because they
cannot be maintained.
Please notify me in writing when this becomes a firm project, as
it will be a long and costly procedure for GTE and we will need
to be given as much lead time as possible.
