Grand Cove-CS 990627June 27, 1999 Eric & Beth Royal 517 Wales Court Coppell, TX 75019 Dear Eric & Beth, Due to the severe ongoing erosion which is occurring on the creek banks behind my residence, I have lost significant amounts of property, as well as several very large trees. To stop this erosion from continuing it has become necessary for me to have a retaining wall built along the creek bank behind my house. I have employed the services of an established local engineering firm (Doyle Engineering Group) and a highly respected general contractor who specializes in this type of work (Craig Olden, Inc.). As we have discussed previously, in order to stop the erosion affecting the creek bank on my property, it will be necessary for the proposed wall to extend slightly onto your property. Please see the attached drawing which shows the limits of the proposed work on your property. Please note that per the proposed drawings, two trees on the creek bank of your property, will be required to be removed for completion of the proposed retaining wall. We have submitted the engineer's plans to the City of Coppell for their review. The City has informed us that we will need to obtain written permission from you before this wall can be constructed. This letter is formally requesting your written permission to proceed as outlined in the attached drawings. By your signature below, you acknowledge that you understand , the plan to extend the wall onto your property, that two trees on the creek bank of your property will be removed, and that the City of Coppell has no responsibility for the work beyond their review for compliance with Federal, State and Local ~uidelines for construction in a floodplain area. Thank you both for your cooperation and understanding. Respectfully, Mark S. Pecca~elli ADDENDUM to June 27, 1999 letter to Eric & Beth Royal from Mark S. Peccarelli.
