REQUEST: Approval of a zoning change request from (C) Commercial to (C-SUP) Commercial Special Use Permit, to allow the expansion of an existing pizza restaurant. APPLICANT: Salerno Pizza Company Ms. Gloria Salerno 126 Meadow Run Coppell, TX 75019 (214) 462-1713 HISTORY: The restaurant has been operated for several years serving as a pizza establishment. TRANSPORTATION: Salerno's Restaurant has frontage on Sandy Lake Road, proposed to be a (C4D/6) four lane divided road in 110 feet of right-of-way. SURROUNDING LAND USE & ZONING: North - vacant & restaurant; C South - office center; P.D. East - Ground storage tank & landscape nursery; R & MF-2 West - vacant; C ITEM 6 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: The Comprehensive Plan shows this area to be developed as commercial. ANALYSIS: This request was submitted in order to expand the existing Salerno Pizza Restaurant. If the S.U.P. is approved, expansion of the restaurant area will allow additional seating.
