Ret FEMA Floodplain Maps/Model and Designation Revisions
Grapevine Creek in Coppell and Irving at I.H. 635
Dear Mr. Adorisio:
Attached you will find two separpte copies of the 1995 Dallas County Map
that delineates County District Lines and City Limits for the referenced
area (base map scale: i inch = 4000 feet; section map scale: I inch =
0.25 mile = 1320 feet). Please note Revision No. 9, dated April 4, 1994,
which indicates that the Coppell City Limit and Irving City Limit adjoin
each other at the southwest Right-of-Way Line of I.H. 635, L.B.Jo
Freeway, from Belt Line Road to Cotton Road. Enclosed is a copy of the
Annexation Ordinance, No. 93617, dated August 10, 1993, by the City of
Coppell that verifies this change in incorporation limits.
Dallas County therefore does not have jurisdictional rights for this
area (no unincorporated limits). Neither our approval nor our
concurrence for model and designation revisions for the affected FEMA
Floodplain Maps is necessary. A cursory revie~ of the current maps on
file indicate the following panels will be affected:
