Contract Documents
Dear Mr. Griffin:
We are enclosing six sets of the Proposal and Bid Schedule along with the Standard Form of Agreement for
the construction of the Village Parkway Ground Storage Tank No. 2 project. These sets have been executed
by Natgun Corporation. Please have all six sets executed on behalf of the City of Coppell, and returned to our
office. We will assemble the executed contract documents together with the project specifications, bonds and
insurance certificates and distribute three complete sets of the contract documents to you and the contractor at
the pre-construction conference.
We have reviewed the certificates of insurance and the necessary bonds submitted by the contractor. The
Performance and Payment Bonds appear to be in general conformance with the project requirements and the
issuing company is licensed in the State of Texas to provide the coverage indicated. However, the Certificates
of Insurance submitted do not include the policy endorsements required by Item 1.26 of the General
Provisions; and further the Owners Protective Liability Policy was not provided.
We have discussed the insurance requirements and policy endorsements with Natgun Corporation and it is our
understanding they are working to make the necessary corrections and re-submit the Certificates of Insurance.
We are available to discuss this project further at your convenience.
