WHEREAS, the abutting property owners desire that such portiom of the easements
be abandoned; and
WHERFAS, the City Council of the City of Coppell has determined that the City and
public have no need for such portiom of the easements, and that the cost of keeping and
maintai'"'"'"'"~ such portiom of the easements is in excess of the fair market value of the City's
interest in the easements being abandoned;
NOW, THEREFO~ BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COPPELL, ~
SECTION L
determined that the portions of utility easements descnl~ed in F. xln'oi~s 'Al' through 'A12"
and 'BI* through *B12', attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes, are ao
longer needed or necessary for public purposes and should be abandoned in favor of the

twelve abutting property owners, identified in Exhibit "C", attached hereto and made a part
hereof for all purposes.
SECTION 2. That the City of Coppell, Texas, hereby abandons all its right, title, and
interest in and to said portions of easements, and abandons, conveys, and relinquishes all
such public interest the City may have in and to said portions of easements to the twelve
abutting property owners.
SECTION 3. That the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, has d~t~rmlned
that the cost of keeping and maintaini~ such portions of the easements is in excess of the
fa/r market value of the City's interest in the portions of the easements being abandoned.
SECTION 3. That the abandonment ordinance of the City's interest in said portions
of easements shall constitute a Ouitclaim Deed in favor of the twelve abutting
County, Texas, to indicate such abandonment.
SECTION 3. That the abandonment provided for herein shall extend only to the
public right, title and interest which the City of Coppell, Texas, may have in and to said
portions of utility easements, and shall be construed to extend only to such interests that the
governing body of the City of Coppell, Texas, may legally and lawfully abandon.
SECTION 4. That thi, ordinance shall become effective from and after its passage
as the law and charter in such cases provide.
