Dear Mr. Troth:
This letter is provided in response to your request to construct a deck on Lot 3, Block 1, of the Creek
View North Addition. Based on our understanding, you are requesting to construct a deck on the north
side of the referenced property along Grapevine Creek. The floodway easement for Grapevine Creek
crosses the property at this location. The ultimate floodplain elevation for the 100-year ev~
Grapevine Creek for this properly. ~' ~- --~g[o~
From our conversations, we understand that the proposed deck will be within the mapped floodway
easement and will be constructed above the floodplain elevation. Limited pier placement within the
floodplain is acceptable; however, the main deck members should be located above the ultimate flood-
plain elevation in this area. This construction will have no impact on the floodplain.
Please be aware that this letter does not permit the placement of any fill within the designated floodway
easement of Grapevine Creek. Please call me if you have any questions.
