Thank you for your letter of September 10, which we received in our office on September 11.
While I cannot fully explain the conl~nu~! lnern~ in traffic on MacArthur Boulevard, it is
obviously related to the development that is occurring to the north of ~11 in Lewisvil~,
which for many years now has been vacant property.
The City of Coppell will be expanding MacArthur Boulevard to six lanes from Belt Line to
Bethel School Road in the near future. Funds for that project have been included in our fiscal
year 1998 budget. We will continue to make improvemmt~ ~md expand ~ur Boulevard
as funds become available.
