10 AC AND 48 AC SITE SOUTH OF SANDY LAKE RD,
Dayton:
I just had a conversation with Mr. Griffin and the following items were
discussed:
1. Mr. Griffin was not sure if the natural drainage channel to the south of
the 48 ac site was on the 48 ac site or to the south of it. The is a key
point so that the Carmilton Farmers Branch ISD tract and the city park can
drain as they have in the past. I told mr. Griffin that I agreed with him
for the drainage reason and because the channel is a wetland area. My
understanding is that even if the drainage channel is on the 48 ac site it
must be left undeveloped,
2. The 10 acre site must drain completely through the 48 ac site into the
storage ponds, also the 48 ac site must completely drain to the storage
ponds. This will prevent the projects from impacting adjacent property.
3. Mr. Griffin wants to see some concept plans or something that shows how
the storage ponds will look. We included a layout in the report, but this is
not sufficient to really see how it will be constructed.
4. Mr. Griffin had a few questions about the report and FEMA forms, which we
discussed.
5, Mr. Griffin agreed to prepare a letter to send the report to FEMA. This
letter will contain reference to the above questions.
6, We called Mr. Lebowitz and asked him to provide a review check for $3100
and to cancel the previous $800.00 check.
7, Our plan is to pick up the Coppel letter tomorrow and send it along with
the report and the review check to FEMA tomorrow so they will racaive it
Friday.
8. We will contact FEMA next week in an attempt to get them to EMAIL us when
they receive the check and report. Mr. Griffin agreed to accept this
confirmation if we copy him.
9, All this has to happen before the PZ meeting of (I think) May 11.
