SPECIFICATIONS:
The FIR Series (single leaf) access frames and covers as manufactured by Ha!liday Products,
Inc. of Orlando, Florida shall have a 1/4" thick, mill finish, aluminum frame designed for
surface mountir_g. Door panel shall be 1/4" aluminum diamond plate, reinforced to withstand
a 10' column o_: stationary. water, or approximately 625 lbs. psf.; fixed with a solid watertight
cover which overlaps the frame and extends down over the frame 2". The door shall incorporate
a 90° return flange around the perimeter. Stainless steel pressure locks shall be provided to
work in conjunction with a 1/4" thick neoprene compression gasket. Mounted to the under side
of the door to insure no water intrusion. Door shah open to 90° and automatically lock with
a stainless steel hold open arm with stainless steel spring assist and include release handle.
Hinges and all fastening hardware shall be stainless steel. Unit shall lock with pad lock lugs.
Unit-shall have three (3) 5/8" diameter holes per side, 1" in from the edge, 12" in from the ends
and 3" off-center on three (3) sides. Hinges tO be bolted to frame and cover, countersunk so
there is no protrusion on the underside. Ease all sharp edges to preclude injury. Unit shall be
guaranteed against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of ten (10) years.
