WORK DESCRIPTION
1. Construction of the inlet and outlet piping for the new ground storage tank required closing the valve at the
existing tank's east outlet pipe. This action did not allow the existing transducer to send pressure readings to the
DWU pressure meter. In order to restore the pressure readings, a temporary 3/4 inch copper wire was connected
to the existing pump station suction header blowoff valve and the DWU pressure meter.
2. The City indicated that the new transducer for the existing tank should be installed immediately.
3. The safety rail on the dome and a portion of the exterior ladder was in place.
4. Work continued on the inlet piping.
5. Work has started on the brick pilasters
6. The interior of the tank was being cleaned with a pressure wash.
