The reconstruction of Sandy Lake on the west side from Denton Tap to SH 121 was approved by voters in
the November 1999 Bond Election. We are currently negotiating a design contract. However, actual
construction would not begin for 3 or 4 years. This allows time for the design, right of way acquisition and
utility relocation.
