Specifically, not including landscaping, we are aware of the following concrete items that remain
to be completed as of this writing:
1. Terminate a short curb at the building canopy entrance sidewalk.
2. Complete a section of sidewalk, parallel to Fritz, on the west side of the site between the
curb and existing utility equipment.
3. Pour back a concrete section, removed to uncover a utility valve, at the west fire lane.
4. Grade the adjacent north neighbor stockpile to accept mowing.
5. Correct the east parking lot entrance approach. Apparently the approach apron has heaved
and separated from the brick paver pad. We will replace the approach apron.
Items 1 through 4 should be completed today. Item 5 will be started and we will attempt to
complete by close of business on Friday.
The final phase of site landscaping is currently underway. The trees and most of the irrigation
system was installed last fall. We are currently completing the last areas of irrigation and
manicuring the grades. Planting remaining shrubbery and grass will commence, weather
permitting, in approximately one week. It is our understanding that this issue is to be further
addressed in separate correspondence with Lee Stone.
We are confirming that our utility and concrete subcontractors have secured maintenance bonds
with the City of Coppell for any installations within City easements, and under separate transmittal
we are submitting the testing lab reports for the project.
We appreciate your consideration and cooperation with the final stage of our project. We are
thankful to have the opportunity to build this project and hope we are contracted to do future
projects in the City of Coppell.
