Attached for your review is Change Order #1 for the referenced project. If you are in
agreement with the change order please sign the three originals and return for execution by the
City Manager. One original will be returned to you for you fde.
I would also like to take this opportunity to remind you of a letter sent to you by Garreth
Campbell on December 20, 1999 (copy enclosed). The issue outlined in the last paragraph has
yet to be resolved. Since that letter was sent, the pole supporting the northbound mast arm has
rotated slightly and must be secured.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call. Your cooperation in the successful
completion of this project is greatly appreciated.

I'm returning Durable's Invoice//827-1 for the following considerations:
Item//1-6 has been completed and should be 1524 LF.
Item//1-13 should be 8813 LF.
Item//1-18 should be 26 LF.
Item//1-21 should be 2 EA.
Item//1-36 should be 2 EA.
Item//1-39 should be 0 LF.
Item//'s 1-40 thru 1-47 are all complete and should reflect the bid quantities.
Item//1-48, the Upload/Download has been delivered, but I have been advised by our
Signal Technician that it is not compatible with our system.
Additionally, on two consecutive days the West bound reds were both out. Our Signal Techs
replaced one of the reds balls and I have been observin~ the operation since and noticed no
further problems. There is a reason they failed initially. I have spoken to Larry Laskey
regarding this problem.
Please give me a call when you've had time to consider these issues so they may be resolved as
quickly as possible.
