The technician observed the concrete mixture at placement location. The
concrete was checked for proper mixing, and a visual estimate of slu~p was
made. Also, the concrete was observed for workab£1i=y, consistency, and
uniformity. Samples of concrete were obtained for the required field tests
and preparation of compressive strength specimens for laboratory testing.
