Subject: Meeting with Lakes o'f Coppell Homeowners Association
The following items were discussed with me by members of the Lakes of Coppell Homeowners
Association on August 17, 1995.
1. Denton Creek: I informed them that at this point the Council and Staff do not have any
plans to increase maintenance activities along Denton Creek. The HOA officers who
were in attendance were in full agreement and feel it would be a waste of taxpayer's
money to pursue any remedies to the erosion and other problems that are occurring.
2. Bridge Lights: I informed that we are waiting for final costs from Stewart Electric and
that we might have to bid the project out if it exceeds $5,000. They asked me about
their willingness to contribute up to $2,000 for enhancements to the Village Parkway
lighting system, and this would keep it the total under $5,000. I told them we would get
back to them in the near future regarding this.
Sandy Lake Road Drainage Ditch: There appears to be some high weeds on the north
side of Sandy Lake Road just next to Fountain Park. Please review this at your

iDeForest Road: I explained our plans to improve DeForest Road. They seemed pleased
witl) that, but also have a concern with high weeds on the east end of DeForest Road in
the general vicinity of the deliverance area.
I informed them the street-sweeping could commence as early as October 1, 1995.)
Q i told them that we would be initiating a traffic light study at MacArthur Blvd. since this
is the area they feel has the most congestion and potential traffic incident problems.
Please inform Atul to begin the appropriate study and contact me in the future when that
is completed.
