Henkels Jensen Construction Company of Texas 4949 Westgrove Drive Dallas, TX 75248 Re: Lakes of Coppell (Part A-B) Dear Mr. Henkels: Please reference your letter of March 4, 1986. We acknowledge the Part A section of the project as being substantially completed on November 26, 1985. However, under paragraph 5.05 of the General Conditions of Agreement, the ·substantial completion· of the facility shall not be deemed as an acceptance. Items to the original punch list, which are relisted on the attached sheet, still need to be completed or .repaired prior to acceptance. In the letter dated January 14, 1986, from Nathan Maier that you refer to, Part B was said to have been ready for maintenance. As of February 26, 1986, the sanitary sewer lines and pavement markers were still unacceptable. MacArthur Boulevard Sta. 34+00 Rt. east curb line not draining properly. 4. Warren Drive/Village Parkway intersection not draining properly. 5. Warren Drive random cracks not routed and sealed. 6. Dowel-on curb improperly constructed in 3rd median island (busted off). 7. One-year maintenance bonds have not been received from Jenson Construction Company. 8. As-built drawings showing add-on and deletion of intersections and crossovers. Part B - (Village Parkway) 1. Traffic buttons have not bonded to pavement. A. 33 buttons south of box culvert need to be replaced. B. 45 buttons north of box culvert need to be replaced. 2. One-year maintenance bonds from both contractors (Jaho and Jensen). 3. As-built drawings.
