Re: The Lakes of Coppell
Dear Mr. Spiker:
In response to your letter dated February 21, 1986, we agree
the above mentioned project has been substantially complete
for some time. When final acceptance was requested on
previous dates, representatives from Ginn, Inc. and the City
of Coppell would verify and find items that either had not
been addressed or possibly overlooked. In any case, items
were found to be deficient.
Attached is a letter to Jensen Construction Company defining
items on a punch list that still need to be addressed. Some
other items which have been discussed with your field
personnel and Mr. Fleming of our office include the
following:
1. Manholes along Sandy Lake Road covered up by your dirt
contractor.
2. PVC pipes installed in the gutter sections of curbs at
Sandy Lake/MacArthur Boulevard are not satisfactory-
3. Turning radii in the asphalt tie-in to Sandy Lake Road
are too small and need to be adjusted.
4. Sandy Lake Road/MacArthur Boulevard does not drain
properly.
We know of no reason that the utilities for the project
cannot be accepted.
