Dear Gary,
On May 3, 1995, Natgun sent a facsimile requesting quotations on
various portions of the (6.0 MG Village Parkway Ground Storage
Reservoir No. 2 Project No. WA-9302). At this time I called
Shimek, Jacobs, & Finklea, who directed me to McCreary &
Associates, Inc.. I received Manufacture & Model No.'s on
equipment,(Consolidated Electric Mode]. 157GSC-D-1.0-15.0-30-50 or
equal, CHESSEL Model 392-3]-3330-36, and electrode and electrode
holder as manufactured by BW. I sent quote to Natgun May 7, 1995.
At no time prior to this date was I informed that the old GSR was
detailed in this project. I did not know about additional
equipment and work to be performed on GSR #] until I sent
equipment submittals for approval.
Equipment and work not quoted:
A. (1) Submersible Level Transducer (Model 15GSC-D) and labor
to install\wire on GSR #1.
B. (3) New electrodes in GSR #1 and labor to install.
(1) Square D 9001KX Series Selector Switch and labor.
Note: This item is also listed on sheet Ell of the Village
Parkway Pump Station Addition. (Ref. note 3 on sheet
Ell).
I am not trying to point fingers or pass blame as to respect of
this situation as I feel it was not intentional. Since the work
on GSR #1 was not included in the request for bid and was not
included in our bid, we would appreciate your help on this
matter.
