Dear Mr. Reitman:
Due to the outcome of your case at the City Council Meeting of August 12, 1997, I have been
asked to notify you that you have 10 days to remove the fence at 603 Lake Park, in order to
bring that property into compliance with the City of Coppell Codes and Ordinances which
regulate the installation of fences.
As you are aware, all fences located within the City of Coppell are required to be permitted
prior to any work being done. However, in this instance, a permit cannot be approved since you
have constructed the fence off your property. Please be informed that the fence must be
removed no later than August 24, 1997.
Your cooperation in resolving this matter is important since failure to do so by August 24, 1997,
can result in citations being issued for each day the violation continues. Texas State law
presently provides for penalties of up to $2,000.00 per day.
