Re: Forest Cove Estates, Phase I
Dear Mr. G-d~m: /
We have been attempting for several weeks to complete the subject project in order to allow TU
Electric. Lone Star Gas to begin their installations, install our construction traile_~r and begin model
~ It seems that we have finally satisfied all of the requirements on-site; however, we were
informed yesterday that Site Concrete had not resolved the issue of silt in the Coppell Road ditch and
in the City owned lake west of Coppell Road. We have told Site on several occasions that they must
resolve the lake issue with you.
We are currontly holding approximately $56,000 in retainage from Site for this project. We propose to
contine to hold those funds until Site has satisfied your requiremems for the silt removal or otherwise
resolved the issue with you. These funds are well in excess of the cost to complcte the work should
Site fail to do so. In returm we ask that you release the project so the franchise utilities can begin their
work and New, hark Homes can begin construction in the subdivision.
Nex~xnark has contracted for several homes in the project and must begin work imrnedaitely in order to
meet their contractural obligations. We, therefore, request
