Dear Mr. Griffin:
Attached is a cop3' of a letter we sent you in March regarding the subject project. We understand from Lam'
Dads that you do not recall receixing the correspondence.
The letter was an attempt to address several questions regarding the water line the City plans to construct along
Sandy Lake Road. Although all of the issues are important to us, the most pressing concern is a decision on the
crossing of Forest Bend Drive; _Mr. Daxis has instructed our pax./ng contractor to delay paying the connection to
Sandy Lake until that decision is made. If weather conditions permit, Site Concrete xxSll complete operations in
Phase I by the end of this week. It is critical that we pave the connection to Sandy Lake Road while the
equipment and batch plant are still on the property. We therefore request a decision as to the proposed method
of crossing (pavement leave-out, boring or sleex.ing). Should you choose to have our contractor install a sleeve,
we xxq_ll need the details on size and material as soon as possible in order to obtain a price and determine if the
material is available. We ~xSll also need to 'know if you w-ish to make direct payment to the contractor or
reimburse us for the work.
We understand that you have now determined a schedule for installation of the water line calling for completion
in July of this year. We assume this schedule takes into account the long lead time required for fabrication of
this size pipe, particularly under current material shortages. If that schedule is correct, it ~511 mesh nicely xxith
the one mentioned in our _March 11 letter.
