Dear Matt:
As we discussed and you requested in your May 29, 1996 letter, the City of Dallas Water Utilities Department
will provide the additional water necessary. for the initial filling of the City of Coppell's new 6 MG ground
storage reservoir. A rate of flow increase is not required for this temporary assistance.
The rate of flow setting at the rate of flow controlled meterrag station will be temporarily increased from its
current setting of 9 MGD to a setting of approximately 12 MGD. This should provide the required 6 MG in
approximately 48 hours from the expected start time of 10:30 A.M. tedav.
I am pleased that we are able to provide this assistance to you. The new ground storage reservoir is an important
addition to Coppell's facilities. Please feel free to call me or Toma Thompson at 670-5886 if you have any
questions.
Sincerely,
Phillip L. Boyd
