Dear Mr. Jackson:
The City of Coppell has reviewed thc referenced plans and has the following comments to offer:
1. Per the City of Coppell Subdivision Ordinance, all engineering plans need to be prepared,
sealed and signed by a registered Professional Engineer.
2. All pavement needs to be constructed on 6" of lime-stabilized subgrade.
3. The connection to the existing pavement at the east driveway needs to be constructed by
blocking out at least an 1 $" wide section of pavement. Refer to the City Standards for a detail
of the connection.
4. No work will be allowed in the 100-year floodplain without an approved floodplain
development permit.
5. On all sheets, differentiate between existing and proposed items by using different line widths,
hatching, or background layers.
6. Show Parkway Blvd. on all sheets, including the location of the median opening and existing
utilities.
7. On the utility plan, the water meters need to be located out of the sidewalk.
8. Indicate in the plans that the sidewalk adjacent to Parkway Blvd. needs to be constructed with
the development and should match the width of the adjacent developments.
9. Please consider adding an inlet to pick up the runoff fi.om drainage area number 2 and connect
into the storm drain extension.
10. On the drainage plan and drainage area map, indicate the size and material of the proposed
storm drain extension.
11. Refer to the City of Coppell Standards for Construction for the embedment detail for the storm
drain extension.
There are various other minor comments throughout the plans. When all comments have been
addressed, please return these marked plans and two sets of revised plans to the City for review. If
