sanitary sewer lateral which connects to the main in Royal Lane. (Please see the attached sketch) Both
options will result in a shorter length of pipe and elevation differences for pipe slopes will not be a problem.
OPTION ~ Connect to the sanitary sewer manhole at the intersection of Royal Lane andNorthpoint Dr.
OPTION #2 Connect to a more northerly point along Royal Lane. A new manhole will probably need to be
built on the sewer main and the as-built plans show the sewer main directly over the curb of the left hand
turn lane on the northbound side of Royal Drive. This happens to be the point at which the contractor
wants to make the connection. Can this be done?
