Dear Mr. Davis:
The utility contractor for the Lake Park Addition project,
C. W. Young Construction, is now complete with the underground
portion of all water, sanitary sewer and storm drainage
improvements. All utility tests have been performed and accepted
by District representatives, including mandrel testing, air
pressure testing and camera inspection testing for sanitary sewer
lines, hydrostatic pressure and bacteriological testing for water
lines, and soil compaction tests for all lines. Test reports and
sewer camera inspection tapes have already been forwarded to the
appropriate city officials.
As District's Engineer for Coppell M.U.D. No. 1, we therefore
feel the underground utilities are substantially complete, and
have no objection with allowing the paving contractor to move
on-site to begin subgrade treatment and concrete paving
operations. If you have any question or comment concerned
utilities placed on site or quality control tests performed,
please call me.
