Village Parkway Ground Storage Res. No. 2
Gentleman,
The six million gallon ground storage reservoir No. 2 in Coppell remains incomplete. The ground storage
tank must be made fully operational so that the City can provide a safe and reliable water supply to its
citizens. On June 6, 1996, the Village Parkway Ground Storage Reservoir was placed in service by the City
of Coppell for critical summer time demands. Several items remained incomplete to make the reservoir fully
operational.
It is imperative that the specified level control system be furnished, installed and made operational. In
accordance with item 1.29.2 of the general conditions, the City of Coppell will complete the level control
system, ifNatgun has not made the specified system operational by July 2, 1996.
Once the level controls are installed, the City of Coppe!l's Water Utilities Superintendent, Mr. Matt Cast at
(214) 304-3545, must be contacted for verification that the level controls are functioning and calibrated to the
City's SCADA system. In the event that Mr. Cast is unavailable, Mr. Ted Dutt from the City may be
contacted.
Please provide us your time schedule to complete the level control system and the remainder of the project. If
you have any questions concerning the City's position on this matter, contact our office.
