You will recall that the District requested-the approval of
the C±t¥ to annex two {2) tracts of land, one be±n9 the portion
of the Lake Park development wh±¢h was not in the D~str±¢t, and
the other be±n9 an adjacent tract of 1.3~ acres owned by Univest
Properties, Inc. (~r. H±nckle7). The C±t7 Council approved both
properties for annexation. -
However, Un±vest Properties, Inc. has failed and refused to com-
ply with the roqu±rement of th~ D±strict regardtn~ the annexat±on
of ~he 1.3± acres, and the D&stri¢t ha~ declined to annex ±t.
~±se¢o Land Development, Inc. has complied with all requirements
of the D±str±¢t and that 20.903 acres has been annexed and is
now a part of the District for all purposes.
O±$tr±¢t water and sewer lines which will be constructed in the
future to serve both Lake Park and a port±on of tho V±sta R±dge
developments will be adjacent to tho said 1.3± acre tract, hs
that tract ts not tn the District, it is not entitled to rece±ve
water or sewer services from the District's facilities. It would
be appreciated ±£ you would call this matter to the attention of
the appropriate members of 7our Staff so that service w£1i not
be inadvertently extendod to tho 1.3± ~cr~ Lr~¢L from th~ water
and sewer l&nes of the D±str~ct.
