Ground Storage Tank No. 2
Gentlemen:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the Thorocoat sample paint colors applied by Natgun Corporation onto the
City of Coppell's existing ground storage tank. It is our understanding that Natgun is recommending
Thorocoat Custom Color Code No. 3847A, as a color match to the existing tank. We offer no objections to
your selection of this paint color for the new tank.
We understand that your paint supplier agrees to provide this color within their manufacturing tolerances and
that Natgun will apply the product in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. We also
understand that differences in substrate compositions, ambient weather conditions and other various conditions
may cause slight color shade variances in the final applied product. However, please be aware that if in the
opinion of the City of Coppell, the final paint coat as applied to the new tank does not match the sample color
and shade as you applied to the existing tank, Coppell reserves their right, as provided in the contract
documents, to reject the coating system applied by Natgun.
Now that Natgun has selected a color for the paint system, we expect the tank painting to be completed no
later than August 9, 1996. We look forward to Natgun completing this project in an expeditious manner. If
