RE: Lake/Park Addition
The agreement between the City-and Coppell Town Center, Inc. to
donate 32.2 acres of land adjoining Coppell Community Park remains
unfulfilled.
The agreement proposed development of a subdivision around the
site to be donated that remains unconstructed. Mike Allen was
contacted and stated a land sale triggering action per the
agreement is not forecast in the forseeable future.
The purpose of this correspondence is to make you aware of the
agreement and its status on a periodic basis should any questions
arise.
Staff remains confident that once the property develops and the
park is constructed, a very viable addition to the park system
will have been made available to the citizens.
